IBR strives for rigorous analysis of any topic related to this emerging industry, though it focuses primarily on understanding its technical framework to investigate its philosophical undercurrent. It works with a variety of mediums to appeal to a wide audience from entrants to experts. For now, the IBR website serves as a launchpad for inquiry, where users may browse, save, and share videos and writing by Niko. Someday, he hopes to open a brick and mortar office and offer his insights to real people.
Niko holds a few degrees in philosophy, and he is currently working on another. He has been endlessly fascinated by crypto since 2021. His perspective on the space is informed by his studies, particularly by his interest in unconventional methods of communication, the philosophy of culture, and aesthetics in the digital world. His philosophical influences are comprised of Renaissance esotericism and American pragmatism. He values precise thinking through writing and intellectually honest engagement with the world, two core principles of Island Blockchain Research.
In a past life, Niko produced and played music—a passion to which he would like to return. He enjoys bossa nova from the 50's and 60's and the American landscape paintings of the Hudson River School.
